Research Affiliates Program


We are interested in collaborating with and supporting early, mid-career and senior researchers who are currently pursuing research in disability health to join our team. We have an Affiliates Program which offers the following opportunities:

Early Career Researchers

  • Support and mentoring from our research team (data specialists, health economists, epidemiologists and policy specialists), each Affiliate will be assigned a Mentor 
  • Collaboration opportunities for future research projects and publications
  • Invitation to the CRE-DH annual retreat, training activities and public events
  • No direct funding is available however you are eligible to apply for CRE-DH professional development funds to help partially fund CRE-DH aligned activities (annual retreats, travel costs and conference registration fees)
  • Career-building opportunities eg. presenting webinars, writing opinion pieces
  • Training in knowledge translation for the disability sector and policy analysts

Senior and Mid-Career Researchers

  • Networking opportunities across the five universities involved in the CRE-DH, international Associate Investigators, and international visiting fellows
  • Collaboration opportunities for research projects, grants and publications
  • Information on the latest disability data developments
  • Invitation to CRE-DH annual retreat, seminars, training activities and public events
  • Training in knowledge translation for the disability sector and policy space
